San Francisco, Calif. – Monday, July 23, 2018 – With one of the country’s premiere car shows Hot August Nights (Reno, NV: Aug. 3-4) rapidly approaching, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers presents a little taste of the epic event at the brewery on Saturday, July 28 to benefit local non-profit Project Wreckless. The San Francisco Bay Area boasts an incredibly enthusiastic car culture with motorists loving the weather, coastal scenery and plethora of winding two-lane roads. Works of art on wheels, classic cars are the products of tradition, dedication, and creativity. These are central values at the heart of Speakeasy Ales & Lagers. To celebrate San Francisco’s fascinating history with restored specialty cars, Speakeasy is the place to be on July 28 for a look at an array of dazzling vehicles while enjoying exceptional craft beers brewed onsite at Speakeasy Ales & Lagers.
In partnership with San Francisco’s Project Wreckless, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers brings to their lot many local neighborhood beauties for this special fundraising Class Car Show. Project Wreckless is a capacity development program targeting the most at-risk youth in the Bayview, Potrero Hill, Dogpatch, and other areas of San Francisco. The singular non-profit provides tools for life through an immersive curriculum centered around the restoration of classic cars.
Speakeasy Ales & Lagers will have 17 draft lines featuring their flagship beers and latest seasonals available for purchases in their taproom. Pre-registration for cars is $10 (includes two drink tickets; email email@example.com for registration details), and $5 suggested donation at the door for attendees with proceeds directly benefiting Project Wreckless. The all-ages event will include freshly brewed craft beers, food, live music, and is guaranteed to be a super fun afternoon the whole family can enjoy. The Classic Car Show takes place at 1195 Evans Avenue in San Francisco, and runs from 12pm – 5 pm.
